Review of Glass (2019) by Jesse I — 20 Jan 2019
James McAvoy's performance was amazing. It was a delight every time he is in the screen. It was fun to revisit Burce Willis' David Dunn Anand see his growth over the decade. Great performances aside the script left something to be desired.
M Night Shyamalan couldn't help but slip in some self-aggrandizing lines that distract from the emersion. Finally, it's a Shyamalan movie, so we need to talk about the twists. Some were brilliant, some were predictable, but the ending was just awful.
The ending represents a misunderstand of the genre and disrespect for the viewers.
