Review of Gladiator (2000) by Leo K — 03 Aug 2015
I've seen this many times, and each time I take away something new. This is always an epic movie, and always will be for it's drama, scenery, and dark ending. But I have to say, the fight sequences were extremely dodgy, with quick-panning, shakey, zooming-in-out cameras and angles.
The usual hollywood trickery, which makes the fight sequences exciting, but at the same time, overwhelmingly smoke-and-mirrors. Nonetheless, this is a classic.
