Review of Gladiator (2000) by Ess Q — 29 Jan 2014
I felt so emotionally connected with this movie that to this day I think Joaquin Phoenix is a "jerk"...I felt so bad for Russell Crowes character and the element of Joaquin sleeping with his sister was just sick, but that is how things worked back then.
The music was amazing and the scenery and cinematography spot on. The length was perfect for the story and it was not rushed. I can't think of anything about this movie that I truly did not appreciate or like.
It is in my favorites pile.
