As muddled thematically as it is visually. Amounts to little more than a collection of cliches (sometimes slightly racist) . What is so confounding is how little the different elements of the film hang together.
The cinematography, music, writing, and performances never come together to tell a story but rather stand on their own as calling cards for the self-interested people who made them. Watch Braveheart instead.
