Review of Gladiator (1992) by Sean R — 16 May 2014
While a phenomenal movie, very well done and one to emotionally entangle you in its complex story, Gladiator is incredibly long, and often a little confusing. Russel Crowe does a fantastic job of portraying Maximus Aurelius, drawing us in with his performance, allowing us to become invested in his character's well-being.
Gladiator is a great film overall, delivering a message that is well-known, but the film delivers it eloquently.
