Review of Girls Trip (2017) by Private U — 02 Aug 2017
A naughty night out for a "girls trip" to the movies. My three firedns and I were the only guys in the house at the opening night of this film and we laughed along with the girls at the few funny high points.
It did not tickle one friend who missed most of the film, but the audience blushed and chuckled at the crass, "yes we know somebody like that" characters. The acting is not great and the comedy writing was typical, albeit, weak for similar films.
.. but, its a naughty indulgence and why not... Had the pleasure of seeing it in the "Homestyle cinemas" of Gemstones, Cinema One in Port of Spain, Trinidad, reclined in my comfy seat with a glass of wine in one hand and my laughter in the next.
Sure its a ridiculous stupid movie, but, its a "hoot" gather your girlfriends and head to the movies and make sure no Instagram skenk is with your man. Jejeje.. Have fun girls.
