I was going to skip this movie, but the twitter-verse raved about it so much that I had to see what the buzz was... I could have waited. Story was paper thin. There were a decent amount of giggles in the movie, though.

It wasn't muscle-cramping laughter, but it was funny enough. The jokes weren't very clever. Some of it was just dumb. The characters' temperaments fit a very familiar mold. Regina Hall was Sarah Jessica Parker.

Jada Pinkett Smith was Kristin Stewart. Tiffany Haddish was Kim Cattrall, and Queen Latifah was Cynthia Nixon. I am happy for the film's box office success, though, because the Hollywood execs need to see these kind of receipts in order to keep making movies with diverse leads.

However, the movie itself wasn't much of a product.
