Girlfriends day feels like your typical made-for-TV movie. The performances are decent and it tries hard to be a film noir type of movie with but it never comes close into what it's trying to achieve.
The film doesn't go anywhere or have any sense to it. Without credits, the movie is barely over an hour long.
