A visual treat, a true gem when it comes to cinematography and lighting technique. Pete Webber sets his shots in all the right places and makes the frame look like paintings from Vermeer. Unfortunately not a story that gripped me and not characters that touched me, although it was perfectly cast.
A good adaptation all in all of a book that was so-so to me. Love the paitning by the way.
