It was fine until the ending, which wasnt as dramatic as in the book. They took out some stuff that would have made it better, especially for those who havent read the book. They prolly thought "What the hell was the point of this movie" at the end of it.
Other than that, Scarlett did a great job as Griet and so did Colin Firth as her master. Recommended if you liked the book or if you liked period dramas.
