Review of Girl with a Pearl Earring (2003) by Yeliz B — 28 May 2011

I was really surprised with the ending at first, I just kept thinking "...huh? thats it?...nothing really happened" but come to think of it I liked that it was so simple. im always used to watching movies with these big grand endings and dramatic scenes.

this was the complete opposite but it was still very chilling. we did not HAVE to see them(johansson&firth) do anything over-sexual b/c their tension either way was very lustful, it didnt need that extra "hollywood" love scene.

his obsession was evident. watching the behind the scenes bonus features on the dvd also made me appreciate it much more especially after listening to the cast&crew.
