A perfectly realized and accurate adaptation of Tracy Chevalier's novel.

Scarlett Johansson and Colin Firth have demonstrated probably on their best performences ever in this movie where dialogues are quite rare, but acting is excellent.

I hope that after watching this movie, those who did not know about Vermeer will at least "google" his name or perhaps even reed the novel...
