Review of Girl, Interrupted (1999) by Tania M — 05 Dec 2010
Jolie deserved the oscar. She demands attention every time she is on take. Ryder dissapears in this film, every single characer overshadows her completely.
But the story is good and the drama is real. It could have been a great film if the lead actor had just stepped up to the pace.
Angelina did a great job, it's just sad that her story in the movie had to be dwarfted by a mediocre lead actress.
