Very loosely based on a Susannah Kaysen's well-written memoir. Despite strong performances by Winona Ryder and Angelina Jolie, there were a lot of bad cliches in this film and innaccuracies about mental health rehabilitation.
Yet another example of Hollywood glossing over a incredibly complicated issue.
