Review of Girl, Interrupted (1999) by Antonio B — 06 Mar 2012
Girl, Interrupted is a solid drama about women in a mental institution in the 1960s. If anything I can say I was pleased it didn't use the trope that has become too overused these days when it comes to movies set in mental hospitals.
..the "is it real or in their head" thing. Beyond that, it has good characters, some good performances, and an all around well executed atmosphere. I thought this was pretty good.
