Girl in Progress feels like several movies taped together. Its OK for Moms and Daughters to waste 90 minutes and Eva Mendes is OK but the movie offers nothing new. Same old daughter who wants to be popular and a rebal, single mom trying to balance everything and dating a married man.
Predictable and forgetable.
