Review of Girl in Progress (2012) by Borhan K — 16 Oct 2012
Girl in Progress was a surprisingly good movie. It discusses the adolesense of a young girl daughter and the relationship between her and her mum. The mum also being a single mum had many faults also it talks about coming of age for the teen but if you watch the flick you basically get the vibe that its really a message that crosses all age groups teens and parents. It also shows how the cycle can continue and also how you can take the initiative and make the change for the better depending if thats what you want and strive for. Maybe a good movie for a mum and a teen to sit and watch together to understand where both sides come from. its not going to be the details of your relationships but a generic understanding.
I'll let you come to a conclusion about this flick yourselves.
