Review of Ginger Snaps (2000) by Billy P — 19 Mar 2009
Ginger Snaps is the only good werewolf movie I have ever seen. It doesn't use much CGI, it's mostly animatronics which makes it stand out. Anyone who reads my reviews knows I hate CGI so...good form.
This movie has a different look to it than a lot of horror today. It has amazing gore effects, great acting for the most part(one guy kind of sucks, you'll spot him if you watch it). It doesn't stick to the same old three B's(bad acting, boobs and blood), but I think that's what makes this movie awesome in it's own way.
All the characters are very likable. And for those of you who want nudity in a horror film you wont get it. But the character Ginger IS hot enough(until she becomes a doggy)that she keeps you entertained.
If you want to see her naked watch Freddy Vs. Jason. Anyway, good show. Check it out.
