Review of Ginger Snaps (2000) by Rodney E — 18 Aug 2011

This movie was more fun to watch than anything. The cast was ok, but some of the people just didn't really get into their characters. Katherine Isabelle was excellent I thought. She was fun to watch.

Emily Perkins on the other hand was mostly just getting on my nerves. She really could not act as her character. The story was pretty weak also. Some points of the film were strong in a way, but then the story went right back to being unsatisfied and boring.

The movie does have an interesting take on werewolves though. They took some of the common myths out which was pretty good. The whole using silver, they took out. They basically made it seem like it was a myth.

It gave the film a little more "real life" feel to it. So overall, it was ok and fun to watch.
