Review of Gimme Shelter (2013) by Lau R — 20 Jun 2008
Marty Balin got knocked the fuck out! This film was the ultimate bad trip, but Mick Jagger's self-absorbed indifference is strangely amusing. The film ends with Jagger and another guy watching the footage of the stabbing with a kind of "Hey, would ya look at that" nonchalance followed by Mick striking a pose into an extended freeze frame.
I'm just never gonna know how to feel about the Stones.
