Review of Gilda (1946) by Padraig W — 01 Nov 2007
High-quality acting and style galore in this legendary movie with Gilda, I mean, Rita Hayworth. The plot is rather pointless and confusing, but like in "The Big Sleep, also released in 1946, this does not really matter - it's all about the noir atmosphere.
And how can one describe an utterly sexy striptease in which the dancer only takes off a glove?
