A true noir classic famed for the classic scene in which Rita Hayworth sultrily strips off her long gloves to 'Put the Blame on Mame'. Hayworth's star quality as the amazing Gilda shines out and the audience totally empathises with Glenn Ford as he becomes so disastrously entranced by her charms.
Not to be missed.
