Review of Gigli (2003) by Jeffrey H — 24 Aug 2007
The film is so bad that it becomes somewhat of an epic comedy, along the lines of "Showgirls" or "Striptease". The performances are hilariously bland, and there are few moments of real humor whatsoever.
Martin Brest, who directed the amazing "Scent of a Woman", seems to be out of his loop here and by the end of the movie, it feels that all involved just don't seem to care at all, and attitude adopted by almost everyone who watched this train wreck.
