Woot, another musical! The whole story I really liked despite the beginning being a little creepy at first. I absolutely adored Gigi and agree with Louis's character in that she is better than all of the women because she's hilarious, silly, playful, and as cute as a button. It was a delight to watch the romance form between the two leads than I couldn't help but go, "Awww." The cinematography, sets, and costumes was surprisingly pretty and the songs were amusing.

Yeah, I agree that there are flaws in it. Some of the songs I didn't feel as strongly for and felt that the movie could've done without. The editing and just how the musical was constructed and directed was very old-fashioned and it feels very aged. For example, there are times when the shots last way too long (similar problem for other old musicals like Oklahoma.) And the ending wasn't exactly how I wanted it to be, it felt sort of opposite of the film was advocating.

It isn't without technical flaws but I think the strength of the artistic aspects and the charming leads make for a delightful watch nevertheless.
