Review of Gigi (1958) by Ricardo Junior S — 19 Jan 2011
The last of MGM's great musicals is also one of their best. Combination of great cast, outstanding songs (Chevalier is a knockout with "Thank heaven for little girls" and "Ah, yes, I remember it well") and a visual banquet from the great Minelli.
Young audiences will call this dated, but it's always a pleasure to see a genuinely piece of art from Hollywood's Golden Era.
