Gifted Hands is one of the most inspiring movies I have ever seen in my entire life. For me, it's inspiring on a personal level since it's what inspired me to never give up when studying. "You are smart! You just ain't using that smartness".
Determination is the key to success. Cuba Gooding Jr. was great in this movie and it all leads to a climactic heart-pounding scene...of the medical variety, not the epic final battle type. It's something regarding an "in medias res" thing.
A great tribute to a role model people of all ages can look up to. If you always do your best when studying and take it seriously, you can do anything.
