Review of Gifted (2017) by Sinophil49 — 06 Feb 2018
Gifted is a formulaic and predictable movie. But it redeems itself by being a well crafted and well acted movie. Chris Evans, McKenna Grace, Lindsay Duncan, and Octavia Spencer all deliver thoughtful and skilled performances.
The eye opener is McKenna Grace whom I have seen only once or twice in sitcoms. Here she delivers a remarkable range and assurance I have not seen from her before and in few child actresses ever. Definitely an enjoyable movie that will tweak your heartstrings, even if you can see what's coming.
