Review of Giant (1956) by Keenan S — 28 Dec 2012
Giant is a superb and absolutely marvelous epic that sure as hell didn't feel like it was a three hour film because it was so damn good. This film does a great job at touching upon multiple themes like family drama, romance, racism, as well as reflections on life as a whole when it comes to the constantly changing world.
The acting is stellar, the direction is wonderful, the music is fantastic, the set pieces are stunning and beautiful, and it also has a great story. There are many good reasons why Giant is a beloved classic, and you should see it if you haven't yet.
