Review of Giallo (2010) by Noel V — 30 Nov 2010
It's actually not bad. No, no, hear me out--it's restrained for an Argento and the plot is ridiculously easy to suss out, but I don't think those are Argento's priorities. Think of this as a character study, of a man so obsessed with justice he himself is some kind of ruthless killer as well.
Think of it as 'Dexter Does Italy'--Turin, to be exact. Cut out the last three minutes and it could arguably be Argento's cruelest film to date.
