Review of G.I. Jane (1997) by Emil K — 11 Jan 2009
A Dynamite action-film with great direction by Scott. This was the first Ridley Scott film that truly showed audience the trademark style of Scott. Action scenes are pure dynamite with wonderful support from composer Trevor Jones.
It has a bit too many scenes with un-necessary machismo, but after all it is a film about Navy Seal training, so you cannot expect it to be Mary Poppins.
