Review of G.I. Jane (1997) by Jack N — 15 Aug 2010
I watched this movie last night, not expecting much. But I was pleasantly surprised at how good the film was. Didn't expect it. Demi Moore was excellent, and I think this is actually her best acting in her career. Also suprising was Viggo Mortensen. I always knew he was a good actor I just didn't know he was in this film. Anne Bancroft was perfectly cast.
It was a compelling story line, well paces, it was visually effective and teh sound editing was professional. You know what? I don't know why I'm surprised. Everything Ridley Scott makes seems to work for me. He's a good story teller.
