Review of Ghosts of Mississippi (1996) by Ruhan R — 03 Dec 2008
Just a note for flixter-QUIT ADDING CRITIC REVIEWS AS THE PLOT SYNOPSIS.
As for the movie, I can't say I liked it. The problem with films based on stories like this is that everyone admires the true story so much they don't realize what a shitty film it is. I'm not really fond of Goldbeg, and especially not Alec Baldwin. The acting was deplorable, especially at Medgar's murder. Overacting all over the place with a terrible setting portrayal. I do admire what Medgar Evers and the lawyer did, but the movie was just terribly made.
