Review of Ghosts of Mississippi (1996) by Ryan V — 09 Oct 2011
A superb performance by James Woods is wasted in a movie that's not about the murder of a black civil rights leader, but is instead about the white lawyer trying the murderer years later. There's an interesting movie begging to be made about Medgar Evers, his life, and his murder.
Unfortunately, Ghosts of Mississippi is not it.
