Review of Ghosts of Girlfriends Past (2009) by Jeni O — 23 Jan 2013
While this movie had it's moments, it wasn't nearly as strong a comedy as the trailers suggested. In fact I can't remember much that made me laugh that wasn't in the trailer. Emma Stone's ghost was hilarious, and Michael Douglas turns in a good performance, but this story was strangely weakened by it's strict adherence to it's "Christmas Carol" origins.
Worth seeing, especially if your expectations aren't too high.
