"Bustin' makes you feel good", and this movie certainly did. My kids and I really liked this film, it takes a little while to get going and establish the new characters and family but has some nice humour, callbacks to the original movie, and signposting whats to come to keep it entertaining. The story builds nicely and the 3rd act is brilliant. This is the way a sequel should be done and handed over to a younger generation.
The special effects were well done, particulary the scenes with the Ectomobile. I thought the cast did a great job and the grandkids acting was really well done. I could certainly watch them in another GB movie, and my daughters also liked it and are interested in watching the original.
I thought this movie had a lot of charm and respect for the original film, unlike the awful 2016 travesty.
