Review of Ghostbusters (2016) by Sam G — 23 Apr 2018
Well, I didn't see it in theaters, and boy am I glad I didn't. This film was a train wreck from beginning to end, my word. Ignoring the fact that this film was almost purely a vehicle for social justice, placing the story and roots of the franchise second, it was from beginning to end placing focus on entirely different themes from the old 80s Ghostbuster films. Anyone who has seen the old films that watches this atrocity will be left stunned and speechless as they reel from the sheer gall of the film makers to produce something this inane in a franchise when the originals were so intelligent.
Save yourself a couple hours, even if you're curious as to how bad this movie is, just do not watch it.
