Three stars is a bit of a stretch, but the movie certainly has a good amount of heart. The biggest problem is that most of the jokes are as vapid as Chris Hemsworth's character. The good jokes don't really come until the middle of the movie, and the ending just runs out of steam.
Some of the characters have potential but it's not developed as far as it should have been.
