Review of Ghostbusters (2016) by Liam M — 14 Apr 2017
A lot of the attempts at comedy fall flat. And the references to the original do more than just distract from what does genuinely work here...and that's a lot. The cast have real chemistry, the story is livelier than it has any right to be and it does a fantastic job at always upping the action from set piece to set piece.
This ain't a classic - but it's heaps of fun! Props to McKinnon for stealing the show.
