Review of Ghostbusters (1984) by Michaela B — 09 Apr 2013
When three paranormal investigators government grants goes out they become the GHOSTBUSTERS . After seeing a paranormal figure at the library one of them sells his house and the buy a rundown fireball and buy the equipment they need to become the ghostbusters.
They get visit by Dana Barrett who came home one day and her eggs flipped out of the carton and fried on her countertop. She opened her refrigerator and there was a building and there and it also was making growling noises.
She turns to the ghostbusters fit help and Peter veinkman is already smitten with her. They find out her apartment building is a doorway that will lead to the end of the world followed by a monster named gozer.
This is one of the best sci-fi comedy's of all time. You talk about a great line up of actors like bill Murray who was hillarious as dr. Peter Veinkman, Dan aykroyd as ray, harold ramis as the nerdy inventor Egon and Ernie Hudson as Winston.
The special effects are awesome considering what they had at that time period which was the awesome decade of the 80's. This movie is so cool and so much fun.
