Review of Ghostbusters (1984) by Phillipe H — 11 Apr 2013
One of the few truly hilarious "special effects comedies," with terrific performances from nearly everyone involved, particularly Murray and Moranis. There's a few elements that feel out of place (an overly sentimental celebratory ending, the cartoonish secretary character, and an incredibly tasteless rape joke, for instance) but the art design is terrific and the script is endlessly quotable.
