Review of Ghostbusters (1984) by Liam C — 12 Aug 2013

This movie was odd for me. While Bill Murray was excellent as usual and the visual effects look fantastic. The tone between violence and comedy seemed like such a big of a jump that they didn't mesh well for me.

One scene I'd be laughing and the next I thought we stumbled onto the set of a horror film. The forth Ghost Buster is completely useless and didn't even want anything to do with them at one point.

The plot seemed to meander in the middle and felt like it went on longer then it should have but at the same time it was very short and told its story and left before you could bat an eyelid and when it ended I had a huge smile on my face.

even though I've complained for most of this review I'd happily see this whenever it was on TV.
