Review of Ghostbusters (1984) by Simon T — 07 Jul 2017
Ghostbusters has aged well, despite (because of?) the hokey special FX. Largely this is down to the cheesy charm of Bill Murray and the genuinely funny concept, but the eighties technology, haircuts and Ray Parker Jr's anthemic title song all add to the fun.
Plus a hilarious cameo by Rick Moranis, Elmer Bernstein's great score... ...and Mr Staypuft.
