Review of Ghost World (2001) by James J — 17 Dec 2008
This film is all about iconoclasm and teen angst, and takes an introverted look at two recent high school graduates, and how their relationships change when they both accept different values. The plot isn't perfect, as it never delved as much into Enid's past as I would have liked, but it was serviceable.
The script is immature at times, but overall filled with lots of wryness. In some ways, I felt this was like Juno, but with more edge.
