Review of Ghost World (2001) by Stephen D — 21 Feb 2015
The fact that we never know what happens to central character Enid makes the ending of this film all the more poignant. That could be why most people who love this movie rewatch it many times, following the events in her life as they unfold and collapse around her.
It would be unwise to slot this one into teen movie category, as it is more a bitter-sweet love story and a movie that follows those on the outskirts of the social norm. This is by far the best movie from 2001.
