Review of Ghost World (2001) by Rachel T — 11 Jan 2009

I was actually surprised by how much I liked this movie. Going into it, I merely expected to watch a lighthearted coming-of-age piece. The film had added depth, however. And, moreover, it had a genuine and realistic feel to it.

I generally can't stand Steve Buscemi. Not that he's a bad actor. He just rubs me the wrong way. I typically find his presence irritating. As much as it pains me to admit it, I kinda liked him in this one.
