Review of Ghost World (2001) by Paul P — 22 Oct 2009
I just couldn't get into this movie. The 24/7 sarcastic teenager who is trying to figure out life has been done before. It wouldn't be a problem but that's what the movie is showcasing. The dialogue is hit and miss, mostly miss.
Bob Balaban is wasted and Renfro, Johansson and Douglas aren't given any room to work in. Buscemi is very good and is almost worth seeing just for him.
