Review of Ghost World (2001) by Ellie D — 12 Jul 2010
First of all, I had read and really enjoyed the comics by David Crowles prior to seeing this movie, but I don't think that affected my enjoyment that much. It is a far cry from the comics for a lot of the movie, but there are certain homages to the comic that will make any fans of the the original work smile to themselves in approval.
As far as the movie goes, this is life. I see so much of myself in Enid and Becky it's disgusting. I totally recommend this movie and it's one of my favorites.
