Review of Ghost World (2001) by Xgary X — 02 Mar 2011
Very rarely do I praise a movie for being perfect, no matter how I feel about it. This movie is truly flawless. Yes there are a few minor moments here and there where it feels a bit mean-spirited or silly, but never for very long. It perfectly blends morbid undertones with light comedy and strong social commentary together.I've never laughed more purely or felt connected to characters like I have in this movie. The story itself is incredibly engaging and never gets boring. Truly worth everyone's time to watch and what I would say is one of the movies everyone needs to see in their lifetime.
My Grade: A+.
