Review of Ghost World (2001) by Han C — 27 Apr 2013
Overall a really disappointing film. I came for Buscemi's performance, and he did well. There were some charmingh moments, but overall Its hard for me to like a movie when I deeply hate the main character. Sure it symbolizes humanity and that we are all flawed, but we do have choices that define us. The characters in this movie came off as childish and straight up mean, common traits for high school girls(lol).
The ending I thought was a letdown as well, and I came away from this movie with a very average feeling. Its got a few charming/funny moments, and Buscemi does well, but thats about it.
