In my view of opinion this is after all a worthy ghost movie that holds it´s good portion of suspense and eeriness. Best I think is when the film goes back and re-visits the past of four the gentlemen.
It adds a lot to the movie which if not the whole story probably would fall very flat. Great acting too especially by Melvyn Douglas. This became his last film as well.
